Our Eco Packaging
The Kid Cave is all about leaving the world a better place for our children.
We have made a commitment to use eco friendly packaging, wherever possible. All our boxes, paper and packing filler has been researched and picked to have the least impact on the environment.
Having eco friendly packing is great, but The Kid Cave believes there is an opportunity for play in everything. So we would love to see our customers reuse the packaging before it makes it's way to the recycle bin.
And yes, we have a few ideas!
Our Peanuts
Our packing peanuts are made from starch, meaning they break down over time. These can be placed into compost.
But that doesn’t seem very exciting does it 🤔 We happen to have a few other suggestions!

How about making a cool art project? Using scraps of paper some imagination and you will have an original artwork with things that would have ended up in landfill!

These peanuts are great for free play!
Use them to fill your dump truck, use spoons or tongs to move from bowl to bowl.
Give a child a pot and let them make you peanut soup. It's that simple!
They are great for open ended, imaginary play. Not to worry, they are non-toxic also.
Our Boxes
Every box is an opportunity to play for a child, but you know that already right.
Anyone who has kids knows that a child loves a good box as much as whatever came in the box. Sometimes more! There are so many ideas out there, but here are a couple to get you started.
